Description
PRO-X includes two passive RF sleeves that attach to both the network and coverage units. A RF cable then provides a link to join the two sleaves together. The system is completely passive and does not require power. The benefit of PRO-X is that the coverage unit can be positioned further away from the network unit, and the PRO can be setup in a building with walls that do not allow an RF signal penetration. Please note that the 5GHz wireless link is not turned off when using the PRO-X, with the separation between the two units still required.
The following table will assist in determining the estimated distance achievable between the Network and Coverage Units:
Cable Type | Diameter (mm) | Estimated Range (meters) |
PT200 | 4.95 | 40 |
PT240 | 6.1 | 45 |
PT300 | 7.62 | 53 |

RG213 | 10.3 | 30 |
RG214 | 10.8 | 30 |
RG223 | 5.4 | 24 |
RG58 | 5 | 20 |
RG316 | 2.6 | 13 |
RG174 | 2.55 | 12 |
